I have been interested in railways since the mid 70s and still have fond memories of watching the class 33s speed through my old local station of Portchester on Portsmouth Harbour to Bristol & Cardiff Central services.
Today my main focus is on the modern day rail scene and railway photography in general.
Photos mainly come from the Wiltshire, Berkshire, Hampshire & Dorset areas on the Southern Region although not restricted.

Railway Collections
These collections are now split into manageable sections for easy reference with each section usually covering the previous few months.
These sections will then be merged into yearly sections for ease of reference and loading.

This Railway gallery is part of the Hants & Dorset Rail community so if you have a gallery or rail collection that contains photos from the Hampshire & Dorset areas feel free to join.

All photographs have the unit or engine number plus location and any extra information including times, headcode and service if known.

Finally a big thanks to all those that supply gen on the various local Rail groups.
